Help needed. I have a sam ms28 drive with extreme 5.1. After playing a copied game for about 30 min to an hour it will "say disc is unreadable, clean and restart system". The original disc does not have this problem, I can play it for hours without a problem.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Has anyone else had this situation happen to them?
I am using dl verbatim, with a pioneer burner. I don't remember the model number of the burner, but i bought the one suggested on this forum. Reading with a samsung sh-d162c flashed with kreon v081 frameware.
i had the same problem, its the laser just replace and it will be as good as new .mine even made grinding noises , trust me the machine warms up then starts giving read errors but not on originals.

mines doing the exact same thing yours did, but im waiting to replace the laser until i get back to school so it can be mailed there instead of home. and come to think of it, i was going to ask the same question as the original poster did when i got back from vacation, because im sick of my 360 giving me unreadable disc errors when im in the the middle of a game.
I know quite a few people who play Rainbow Six Vegas with me who have the same problem, and that is with original discs and an unmodded console. So there is a deeper issue there somewhere
