hehehe, so im really a wreckless noob, so, the other day i was playing with my ps2slim and my 3year little nephew started to run around and got caught between my controller and the ps2 so, it fell to the floorand it completely bust the reset button, so i was trying to fix it and i just put it into its place and saw it worked so i just crazy glued it it was just fine, so i read a little a bout swap magic and was considering to buy one, so as i was high on crazy glue success i though i could glue the cd tray sensor as well so i didnt need to open it again once i bought the swap magic, BIG mistake, im thinking maybe the crazy glue made some kind issolation inside the sensor and know even it was pushed in int didnt let the electric current trough, so, as i know i cannot fix this since its crazy glued i completeley took it appart the board, both the reset switch one and the main board one, but im thinking maybe not all is lost, since i think its just a simple switch, maybe i can solder my way out of this, does anyone know if this is possible? and if it is could you please point out what order to solder it? i attach a couple of pictures so you know how it looks without the sensors this is the reset switch, and this is the main board
thx for the reply to the thread in the forums, unfortunatelly the thread is dead, hopefully i can make some trial and error my self, i dont have much to lose since i live in the middle of nowhere and the only choice i got is fix it myself or lose it for good
