streaming audio/fstfix damages wii or wii laser?

i am just curious if this is at all possible.
i dont want to play games that may be "damaging" my wii.
i applied the fst fix to a few games, and now the screeching noise is minimal or stopped sometimes
like naruto 4 and bomberman generations.

any thoughts about the streaming audio hurting the laser or system?
