Hi

I have an xbox 360 which has been flashed with ixtreme1.2, i am now wanting to sell the console and was thinking about putting it on ebay. What is the legality of upgrading the FW? and selling an xbox with upgraded FW. I wont be selling it with any of my backup games just the console.

You can't sell it on ebay with acknowledge modified firmware. They will pull it if they notice it. Either flash it back to original or call it something like xtremely well working Xbox 360 console and word the ad to say buyers should know what you are talking about without actually saying it.

i honestly don't think it would be illegal, you paid for the xbox, and if your not selling backups with it then that makes it more legal. flasing the drive is not the illegal part it is the backing up of games you do not own, but in ebays eyes who knows, just do what memnock said, or you could just say to contact you for some special juicy details.
