I can't seem to find my software disc that came with my Datel xchange 360 so I was wondering if there was a place I could find it on the net?

The drivers are messed up. The same thing happened to me. I also posted this for someone on another sight. Here's what I did to fix it.
1. Uninstall Xchange360 program
2. Go to start, right click MY COMPUTER and go into properties
3. Selection HARDWARE Tab and then DEVICE MANAGER
4. If you see Memory Unit with and exclamation point right click and uninstall it
5. Go to USBIO devices down below and uninstall Xbox360 MU USBIO - Device 1
6. Unplug the memory unit and the USB adapter and plug it back in
7. When plug and play asks to install the new device select the Xchange360 CD as the location for the drivers
8. After device is installed reinstall Xchange360 program from CD
It should work after that.

It's not compatible with the 512mb card. You have to use a 64mb one.

is there a download somewhere which will make the xchange360 by datel compatible with a 512MBcard??
I hope this is the problem.
As I have tried re-installing the drivers and software several times without getting the "memory card error" bit.

No you have to get a 64mb one. I don't think Datel makes the xchange anymore and when they did make it the 512mb didn't exist, hence the compatibility problem.

when using this, how do I backup Partition 3 only and not the whole thing? PS I have the 1.11 update so it supports the 120GB drive (which I have)

not sure if the datel is compatable with vista? vista seems to have problems recognizing usb peripheral devices, at least in my opinion? The other thing is I remember from this threat that you need a 64mb memory card. a 512 gave me the same error message.
