Hey guys, ive successful downloaded and burned many PS2 games using dvd decrypter never having a problem until i recently got nartuo shippuden accel so i went about normal extracting the iso out of one of the rar files which worked as normal coming out as "NARUTO.iso" now under files type it says elby.VCDMount.1 a type i have not seen before, so i figured oh well and proceeded to burn it normally via dvd decrypter now this appeared to also work fine as normal although the game simply wont load up any help / ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Hey feanor_10, could you please tell us what method you are using to play your backups? EX: Swap Magic, modchip (if so, which one), or Memory Card Exploit?

Using a modchip, as ive mentioned ive burned around 100 games with this exact method, no failures never seen this file type.

I just downloaded narutimate accl but have already encountered a problem. I put in swap magic then swap the disc and get all the sponsers like bandai and such then the screen turns black and nothing happens. I burned it on a sony dvd-r one 4xspeed the other 2.4xspeed both get same results. help would very appreciated.

Hmm... not sure what to say. Do you see any of the sponsors, or is it just a blank screen? I would think that since you have a modchip, everything would work.. which modchip do you have?
Also, you said that the file type said elby.VCDMount.1, do you see that when you hover your mouse over the .iso file or when you browse & select it in DVD Decrypter?

no it shows namco/bandai then just bandai then criware then it gives me a black screen it boots quick and does not skip during the sponser screens anyway. I do not have a modchip I have swapmagic3.6 and a fliptop ps2. This is the first I ever burned that did this.

Sorry guys, I should've addressed by name.
@ feanor_10 - So it's just a blank screen... This may sound weird, but try booting ZoneLoader or CogSwapLoader first, then eject disc and replace with your backup. I know those 2 are for Swap Magic users, but it could somehow help. I'll try to get this game and see if I get a blank screen too, I have a DMS 4 Pro modchip.
@ zero410 - Ok, so you have gotten to see the sponsors and then it goes to a blank screen and no game at all. Try the method with CogSwapLoader/ZoneLoader and see if that helps.
If that method doesn't work, the game may need to be rebuilt. There's also some games that need a .PPF patch, but I haven't heard about one for this.
But yeah, I'll try to aquire this game and see if I can get it to work.
