I need some help guys.
When i try to flash a new set of themes like Black32 it flashes fine with no errors, but when i switch on the psp after it shows the "Revolutions" replacing the SCE and shows a couple of waves the screen just goes white only showing the battery and then eventually turns itself off. I copy the previous flash0 files on the psp again and it works fine. Whats gone wrong???
Oh and BTW im on 3.40oe-a, with 1.50 kernal.

A bit off topic there, but, it's usually down to the topmenu_plugin.rco, you can choose to just not flash that file, and it should work fine, or alternatively run it through an icon converter and that should work too
PSP, all the way from 1.00 to 5.50 GEN D2 - DS Lite w/ M3DS Real (M3 Sakura v1.34)
PS3 3.01 - iPod Touch 2G 16GB Jailbroken - Xbox 360 60GB - PC, Q6600, 3GB DDR2, GTX260 (216) 896MB

Hey Shokz, thanks for the reply. I followed your instructions by not flashing the topmenu_plugin.rco, turned it on and it loaded, but it wasnt the theme i wanted. Everything turned out to be White lol, no waves, no colour just plain white, all icons were there and i could use everything but just not what i was hoping for. I then flashed that topmenu_plugin.rco and it didn't work again. Anymore ideas mate, not quite familiar with running it through an icon converter.
Cheers.

The screen turning out white is usually down to the settings being wrong, or otherwise the 01-12.bmp file isn't recognised.
Go to "Theme settings" on your XMB, then "Theme", If the list says "Original" at the top, then a white square, then just shadows for the rest, select the white square as your theme, and it should show up.
If you can't get it to show up it's usually down to the 01-12.bmp file being unreadable by the psp.
I found an icon converter in a thread a few days ago, my topmenu_plugin.cro's didn't work unless i changed them to Jap.
I can try find the thread for you, or email the files to you as they're only 677kb which would be easier, just PM me your email address. Either way would be ok

OK, searched a little and found the thread here. Don't worry that it says 3.03 to 3.40, you can convert any CW topmenu_plugin.rco's with it.
Download that and extract it to somewhere like your desktop.
Open it up and place the topmenu_plugin.rco you want to convert inside the folder, then doubleclick the "Jap_Upgrade" file, it will come up with a new window, after it's finished press any key to exit it.
Now place the corrected topmenu_plugin.rco into your flash0 like usual, if it still doesn't work, repeat the steps but with the "US_Update" file instead.
Hope this helps

Hey Shokz, really appreciate the help, But ive managed to fix my Theme :) :) :). I found out that the problem was due to the fact that the 01-12bitmap in the Black32 theme that i wanted was bigger than the actual psp, i think. The size being 480x272, i then found another set of XMB themes and there was the same theme in the pack, i checked the 1-12bitmap and the size was 335x190. I flashed it straight away and it all works now like a charm. The only thing now, is i got confused which folder was my flash0 and which was my flash0backup and unfurtunetly have lost my original psp icons :(, lol.
Thanks again for the help mate.
