SS Merger problems. Help

Hello. A couple month before, i used to backup games flawlessly by dumping copies to my computer with the hotswap method, merging ss files w/ SS Merger, then finally burning onto a DL disc using CDCLONE.

Im trying to back up FIFA 07 but apparently running into problems. First off, once the game is done by hotswapping w/ wxRipper...my games are no longer dumping in the usual size of 7,525,056 kb. Fifa came out to be 6,903,774. Is this a problem?

2ndly, As i try to merge w/ SSmerger 1.7. I add the ISO and click no on checksum verification. No ISO loads. I add the corresponding SS bin and hit merge. Suddenly, an open search pops up. Very strange

So i tried SSmerger 1.5. Again, i load the iso and click no on verification md5. Again, the iso loads immediately.(normally this would take awhile). Then i would load the SS bin. I click MERGE, and instantly boom, a DVD file is created. uhhh this does not feel right.

I've been out of the scene for quite some time now and was hoping if someone can tell me what the heck is going on? Thanks in advance
