How to Install Pimpstreamer

Note: All tutorials by my name are done by me and copyrighted by me thx all the applications i show are done by the creater.

3.PIMPSTREAMER

Pimpstreamer is a program that allows you to streams music and video without the need to convert right from your pc!

INSTALLATION FOR PSPHOST/PIMPSTREAMER 0.76

WHAT U NEED
ROUTER NOTE: Must have no encryption(password) or only WEP WPA(TSIK)passwords do not work thx sudds for the heads up.
PIMPSTREAMER 0.76 OR 0.83
also it is a long process sry if a bit confusing

1. download which u may choose i reccommend 0.76 as that one worked for me

2.follow the setup instructions and make sure u have your psp connected in usb mode also when it ask u if u want to make this viewable to all users check the box.

3. Once your done installing it go onto your psps memory stick from your computer and go into this directory into your game folder and open the folder called PIMPSTREAMER201SUB (for 0.76)it may be the same folder for 0.83 as well.

4. Once your in the folder you will see an Eboot 8 font files and a pmp configuration settings file (pmp) <<<open that with notepad.

5. After u will have to modify a 1 thing. in the pmp file u will see 3 things [stream] debug=0 and pimpserver_1. Leave the first tWo things alone and scroll straight to the pimpserver_1. now u need to change the ip to your computers static ip. (instructions on how to make this ahead)

5part 2. to find your computer ip out click the start button then hit run a window should come up ( for xp users hit run>cmd>ipconfig/all)when it does type in IPCONFIG/ALL. a command prompt should pop up and a list of all your ip connections. Now scroll up until u see something like this.

now i edited off my stuff but yours should look like this but with all the numbers. now the ip is the 192.168.0.1 for me but i had to make a static ip and a port heres the link to make it (YOU HAVE TO MAKE A STATIC IP AND PORTFORWARD WITH YOUR ROUTER IN ORDER FOR THIS TO WORK FOLLOW THE LINK FOR INSTRUCTIONS BASED ON YOUR ROUTER)> http://portforward.com/english/routers/p...routerindex.htm

Now the only thing left to do is enter the information in now if u went to the site and made a static ip and made a port on your router your static ip may look like this 192.168.0.142 now the last three numbers that you got for your static ip is wat u need so ex. if it was 142 i would change the last three numbers in the ip with 142 so now the notepad should look something like this

debug=0
pimpserver_1 = 192.168.0.142:3333;

now save this and your almost done.

6. Now open up psphost and it should load on your system tray (right beside or near the time on your computer)

7. right click the icon and click settings. Now click this> Enable Pimpstreamer at program start also check of this if it already isnt checked off>> Enable Wifi at program start now those are the only 2 things that u need to be checkmarked. now click ok and close psphost by right clicking the icon again and exiting.

8. Now open up psphost for a second time and pimpstreamer should come onto the system tray as well. now click the pimpstreamer icon (looks like a little hat with a music note on it) Once opened u need to set a media path i recommend u make a folder on desktop with all your music and video files that u want and make the path to that. or if u noe how to get to your music from your C drive make it your C drive

9. Now you need to change the movie bitrate to 700 and the audio bitrate to 128 for regular viewing and maximum use of this application.

ALMOST DONE!

10. finally go to your psp and load up pimpstreamer and when u get to the purple screen u will see your internet connections. Now connect to your router in this case my connection name was this
1.BLAZE (BLAZE) <0.0.0.0>

then choose the ip adrress in this case theres only 1
ex. this is wat it would look like just your last three number will be different

1. 192.168.0.142:3333

after that it will ask if u want to test your connection choose no.
and now it should connect to your pimpstreamer on your pc!

11. u should see all your files that u made in the folder or u should see your C drive just access them by clicking X it may lag a tiny bit but it is an awesome program!

NOTE: if anyone has a better tutorial plz tell me
