Note: All tutorials by my name are done by me thx all the applications i show are done by the creater.

plz provide feedback on this tutorial as its my first half video tutorial

6. IRSHELL 3.62

This is a multitasker device that has recently been updated and includes alot more features. This program allows u to control tvs, browse your memory stick play music while play a game control your keyboard and many other usefull things. In this tutorial i will mention how to install and use put the IR remote codes inside..

Here are some of the new features:

* Added support for Team M33's newest custom firmware (See note 1). If you don't want to update to M33, you will still be able to use this new release with older OE firmwares
* Launch and multi-task with PS1 games from within iR Shell (works also via USBhostFS and NetHostFS) (see note 2)
* Backup ISO plugins now integrated into iR Shell 1.5 EBOOT and 3.5x EBOOT (also supports USBhostFS and NetHostFS)
* Backup UMD Video ISO support (also supports USBhostFS and NetHostFS)
* Direct switching between 1.5 EBOOT and 3.5x EBOOT via new shortcut combo
* System-wide "Quick Exit" function to quickly shutdown games, homebrew etc and return to iR Shell
* Improved Autoboot to iR Shell plugin
* New Comic Reader plugin based on PSPComic for CBZ and CBR files by suloku - Original version by Archaemic
* Added the ability to flash/blink the menu highlighting cursor.
* Added support for adhoc PC nethostfs connection under 3.xx CFWs (some additional firmware files required)
* Added a new config item in configurator to turn on/off the Music button for screen capture.
* Other bugfixes and tiny improvements.

[b]INSTALLATION

Before you install make sure you delete any old IRshell you had on there before (e.g. 3.2)

1.Now to Install! First download the file pspirshell36.

2. Now there are many files in here now hold ctrl and click seplugins, PSP and IRSHELL.

3. Drag these files to the root of your PSP and if it asks you to overwrite click Yes.

4. You should be done with IRshell installing! Now time for the Pronto Codes (controlling your T.V.)

5.. Now download the second link the pronto codes.

6.. Now open the folder and you'll see IRSHELL drag that folder to your psp's root folder again and click YES to overwrite if it asks you to. ( Now copying this will take awhile 21 mins for me if not faster or slower for you so do something else in the meantime!)

NOW this is a patch for IRSHELL only for M33 firmwares so if you have their firmware follow step 7.if not go to step 8. for 3.40oe-a users for the manual install for this patch

7. Now in your psp go to game and load up the pspbtcnf patcher
What this does for M33 firmware is allow you to play backed-up UMD's (cso and iso files) on IRSHELL and autostarts your psp to IRshell. Now once your done the patch you can delete this from your memory card in the folder K:\PSP\GAME150\btcnfpatch. ( once your done go to step 9.

8. To install the IRHSELL patch manually follow this video tutorial by click the youtube picture

9..Now go to this folder inside your psp and delete 3 files K:\PSP\GAME150\ >>btcnfpatch and delete this folder

K:\PSP\ >>GAME271 delete this folder

and last K:\PSP\ >>GAME352 delete this folder.

Now you may be wondering why i didnt tell you to do this before in the package well if u had M33 Firmware u would need the GAME352 folder and the btcnfpatch except for the GAME271 u can delete that folder.

10.. Now download the third file i gave you the IRSHELL 3.6 to 3.62
update.

11.. Open this folder when download is complete and hold ctrl and then click seplugins and IRSHELL

12.. Then drag these folder to the root of your memory stick again.

Thats it your done the IRSHELL update from v3.60 to v3.62!

13.. Now download this last file cpu speed bug. This is the update for the cpu speed bug (Just use this irsfw30x.prx and put it in the seplugins folder and click yes to overwrite.

14.. Now finally go to your psp and then to game and load IRSHELL!

Now for you 3.40oe-a users out there i put a video tutorial on how to install the irshell patch manually

15.. Now when it loads You can do numerous things Play music, while playing a game/homebrew, set an alarm, control your tv etc.
