It is custom firmware 3.51, If u try to play some newer games, sony will tell, you to update (if u dont you cant play) But if you update, all sony firmwares, try to block the illegal game play. But this is custom firmware and it has Sony 3.51 firmware and have the ability to play iso/cso/emulators off the memory card.

Just upgrade to custom firmware 3.51 M33. put it in psp/game n install it. DevHook was used BEFORE custom firmware came out, n since custom firmware came out, alof of ppl dont use DevHook, n the creater of devhook quit making it, So it is outdated. Custom firmware is so much easer to use. Download the link i gave u, unzip the rar file with win-rar, n put the PSP folder in your memory card, and over right it. Go under the memory card in game tab n click X or O what ever is enter. N it will tell u what to do, after it is done format the memory card. There will be a iso folder in the root of your memory card (root is where the folder PSP is in (not in PSP folder but where PSP folder is) like i.e. K:/ ) Put your cso in the iso folder. N go under the game tab then run the game.

Of corse, its custom firmware, the firmware u have right now 3.03 OE-A is custom firmware also, there is a recovery back to 1.50 in my sig. Theres not much downside, besides that it can break (brick) your PSP, as with all updates, just make sure not to remove all power while its updating. Also ther is no point to downgrade once u have custom firmware, people downgrade just to get to custom firmware. But u can get back to a orginal sony firmware if u wanted to.

"Spider-Pig, Spider-Pig. Does whatever a Spider-Pig does. Can he swing from a web, no he can't he's a pig"...lol its stuck in my head...

Yes, create one. I said to format the memory card using the PSP...and that deletes everything on the memory card, and it creates it alot of folders for you...but w/e. Also it is safe for you to delete the custom firmware files u put on your memory card.

You should do this. Shutdown PSP completely. Hold R turn on PSP a black screen with white and red text should show up. This is the recovery menu (if the psp messes up u can fix it here, but dont use it if u dont have to cause u can mess up the psp.) in the recovery menu change these settings.

Configuration
Hide corrupted icons-Enable
Game folder homebrew-1.50 kernel
UMD Mode-Sony NP9660 -NO UMD-

Advance/Advance config...all disable

Also change what ever u want, unless u don't what the settings does.

yes, its probably is.
Also do this in Winrar. Winrar can unzip iso files, which u dont want to do with PSP iso. But u might thing it is a zipped file but it is a iso n gets confussing
Go to options-settings-integration and uncheck iso
