Hi, looking for a DVD Recorder, Got it down to a Sony RDRHXD970 or Panasonic DMR-EX87EB-K, which is the best ?

Noticed a earlier Sony model won best DVD Recorder in What Hi-Fi in UK last year,

Feel myself that the Sony may be the slightly better buy, But maybe it comes down to who makes the best TV to go with it as well?

Any one have any thoughts/recomendations please?
