question about Memory Stick Pro Duo

there's a shop selling me non original Memory Stick Pro Duo which is far more cheeper from sony or scandisk, the question is : will it harm my psp in future if im using this mspd ?? im not sure what brand was it but
made from china as well...

(note* just want to put video n mp3 files in those mspd. )

You can buy it if you'd like, it just won't last as long as a regular MSPD. I found with my fake stick that I had to keep reformating it in order to keep the files I put on it from going corrupt. After about a year of doing this, I grew weary and just bought a legit stick.
