need help with an NME 1.2 on a samsung

Hi, i just recently installed an nme 1.2 on my samsung drive. i completly removed the 470 coil and i bridged the spot where it used to be and i made sure to put the chip in "samsung mode". i also didnt bother soldering the optional extra points.

Well, the chip plays backups great when i can actually get it to switch on. i usually get the "please insert into a 360" error message the first few times i try to play a backup and i have to restart my system and try again a few times before the chip kicks on and recognizes the backups. once it recognizes one backup, i have no trouble playing others until i restart my system again.

My question is, is there any way i can make my chip activate more consistantly? could the 470 coil be related to this?
