I woud check out a few places like gocybershopping.com, Clearxbox.com,Divineo.cn , ps2fliptop.com (or .net), or even llamma.com

those are all reputable sites but i do not know which products all of them carry.

Hey, I want to know what discs and brands you use.

If you got a link that would be helpful, I'd hate to buy dvds that don't work on my fat ps2.

I dont have anything written at all on my disc. It's blank and I got it from my cousin. It's DVD+R though. I think DVD+R is better and safer on the PS2 (correct me if im wrong). But yea get the brand sony, vertebraim (SP), etc. anything but memorex.

Best place to buy media is online stores like supermediastore.com, meritline, or Newegg.com

I usually use these: (sorry a link on that site (supermediastore.com) will not work)

$32.99 for a 100 pack with Free Ground Shipping
Product Code: DV-001-0487
Manufacturer: Taiyo Yuden
Media Code: TYG02
Mfr part #: DVD-R47ZZSB8

or these i have also had great luck with.

Maybe I'll look at those thanks. Is it better to use DVD+R or DVD-R?
Also will "CD-R MUsic" work on ps2 and is it safe? oh and what website did you buy your modchip at? :p

CD-R should be just fine, i think even an unmodded system will play burned music CD's, and i know that an unmodded system will played back up copies of movies.

As far as the -R VS +R thing. that is personal preference really. I personally think that DVD-R are more compatible with more systems so that is what i use. I have done some on +R and they also worked but my burner is booktyping them to DVD-Rom and some people can not do that.

As far as modchips, i get all of my work done at Teammodders.com as i am a moderator on their forums and i know those guys. If you want to look around the site they have install pictures so you can see the top notch install job they do. Plus the site feedback section of the forums you can find out what their customers have said.
