I have a SCPH-39001 and SCPH-30001R. I am going on a long trip and I wanted to be able to play some of my PS2 games on my PC. I am using Pcsx2. How would I do this. I have the BIOS files but how would I set it up. I have a Dell Inspiron E1505 with a Core2Duo 2.0Ghz/2GB RAM/ATI X1400. How would I set it up? PLEASE HELP!!!!!
I found the guide and I followed it. Now the games run but they run really slow (FPS around 50) This time I tried it on a Celeron D 2.93/1GB/ATI 9800 PRO. Is my computer not powerful enough or is the slow speeds normal?

I actually love the Celeron processor. The price I payed for it ($10) and the performance I get out of it is amazing. It plays FEAR on low settings fine and games like Quake 4 at medium and NFSU2 and GTA San Andreas at high with no lag at all. Best of all, it stays cool 30C idle and 45C peak 50C at a 100% constant load. This processor is in my most stable computer.
So, I won't be able to play PS2 games on my PC, no problem just got a TV tuner to do it. How about PS1 games? Do they require that much power to run? Would they run on a Core2 @ 2GHZ/2GB RAM/ATI x1400 (E1505 Laptop)?
