Remember how many of us got into the warhawk using ps3 proxy? I was doing a little web browsing and came across something interesting. It turns out that if you have an Australian ps3 then u can get into the home beta the same way as we did warhawk. I haven't been able to test this since Im from the united states but if u create a new user and make it a US account then you can download the beta from this url

You do all of the steps like you did in warhawk by setting up the proxy but u set the above as the url i listed(simple copy and paste) and download a game demo from the store and boom it works. Why on Australian units i have no clue but its been confirmed by reliable sources that it works on firmware 1.82. As far as the new update I have no clue but its worth a shot. As many of us know this will not work on a US unit nor will it work on the European units. I hope this helps our aussie friends.

I tried that out and managed to download both the Warhawk beta and Home beta but I am having problems. The Warhawk beta loads fine and I can get to the main menu but when I try to play online (local game is not highlighted) it starts initializing network before displaying network error and returning to the menu. As for the Home beta, I have installed it but cannot start it at all and get the message: copy protection information invalid (80029513). Can somebody please help?

I've been told the Warhawk beta is now over, can somebody PLEASE help with getting the Home beta to work?

maybe the warhawk beta isnt over, I dont know for certain but at the moment I am far more concerned with getting this Home beta to work as it is currently installed but just wont load, can anybody please help?

Like I've said this will only work on an Australian console. The warhawk beta is over. That game is less than a month away. ALso Ive said that this is confirmed for version 1.82 not 1.9 so this might have been patched. But my Australian friends have confirmed this working. Where is everyone from? READ THE TITLE HOME BETA AUSTRALIA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jlhfit - some text in your signature is totally destroying the page margins, please fix it ASAP; also, the picture in the signature is over the allowed 50kb limit, pls downsize it to 50kb or under..
Signatures
1. Text-only signatures should have at most 5 lines of text.
2. An image-only signature should be less than 50kb in size, and be at most 500 pixels wide and 200 pixels tall.
4. If you want to use both text and image in your signature the image should not be more than 500 pixels wide and 100 pixels tall, and you can use up to three lines of text.

I don't think theres any other games in beta besides Home..anyways it won't work until the "open beta" comes out. Warhawk only worked with the proxy because it was open beta process. So it may work in open beta form, I'm not completely sure though.

have heard mention of a japanese only beta for Metal Gear Solid online, dont know how true it is though and there is supposedly a few betas upcoming such as The Agency and apparently Killzone 2.
