ok i guess i must be a newbie, ive followed the instructions and took my dvd player apart and used wxripper and got 7.05 gig image file.
Now what i need help with is what do i do with it...ive tried the ss merger program but it keeps saying cannot connect to sever.ive installed netframe 2.0. isnt it possible to use the wx360 program and extract all the files and burn onto to a dvd dl like a data disk?
Plus what is this image.dvd file you want me to open with notepad at?
So if you please i just need some one to tell me what im doing wrong before i start making coasters.
Been trying to figure this out for a week little frustraded.I just would loved to back up my 360 games.
ok first off u dont need to rip u r drive apart, when u click stop the drive get a paper
clip straighten it out and poke it in the emergancy eject hole, works every time for me.
rite ill explain this in 3 parts.
PART 1 - How to stealth the games
(stealthing games will help not be detected by microsoft, then u wont get banned)
1. download and install ssmerger 1.7. whick u can get here.
3. install that, now we need to change the layerbreak on the disk
4. now go into tools then settings,now click the wirte tab and change the layerbreak to
user specified and then put the numbers 1913760 into the box.
5 now click ok.
6. now u want to burn the game so stick the verbatim dual layer +r disk in the drive and
and make sure u r un wite mode, whn so click browse, where the source part is and look
for the smaller file of the 2 that u end up with and once its loaded, burn at 2x - 2.4x
and no higher.Now select the writer u wil use and click the simbol at the bottom which
represents burn to disk and the burn will take 40 to 45 mins to burn.
ok when u flash u r 360 it increases the laser strength to read the backups and using crappy disks makes it harder for the 360 to read and it will eventually burn out your laser, i did this with my first 360 in 2005, flashed the day i got it and used memorex disks, and in 7 months it wouldnt read games anymore, or dvds it was f****d and i got a new one and now i use verbatim disks and its been fine for a year and a half now lol.
NOOB..... you actually thought that u could play games on the 360 without flashing it or installing a mod chip. sorry but i took alot of time answering your question and its useless beause u dont have a 360 that is flashed, FLASH IT and play them!!!!!!!!!!
