I have read all I can find in this forum and still do not understand why the following is happening:

I want to create a backup of my Blade II movie from the DVD drive to a divx-avi file and decided to try Super DVD Ripper (1.90).

The process took a little over 12 hours and it indicated a fps encoding/ripping speed of 3.9. When it was finished, the only thing created was the audio, no video...what is that?

I used DivX 5.1 as the encoder and had it setup as:
2 pass @ 1006 bitrate, per DVDtools

Any suggesstions? Should I just skip these auto-ripping and encoding app's and go strictly manual and follow the Afterdawn guide?

About that guide...it sems there are too many steps involved, what is your opinion?
