i would like to debrand a telstra sony ericsson w850i and put the generic software or three software for australia.

Is this possible? is it also possible to keep the generic software whilst using planet three.

also, is it possible to debrand the phone using the sony ericsson update service? does it allow you to choose your branding, or does it automatically select the upgraded telstra version of it if you are already using it.
