Buying an external 500Gb HDD for my slim.

Hey. I have a Duo3 Gold mod chip installed on my slim v15b. I have had it installed since december and i have had zero problems. I am getting tired of burning dvd's and buying them and such. I am going to buy a 500Gb HDD online. It is USB 2.0 with 1.1 compatibilty. I have a working copy of HD Advance 2.0 (got from torrents). I just have three questions about using a hard drive.

1. Do i need anything else? I have the loading disk (HD Advance 2.0) and soon with have a HDD.

2. Will I still be able to play my "backups" online (wireless)? (patched DNAS)

3. Is the HDD going to work with my Ps2? Link below...

NOTE: The copy of HD Advance 2.0 is in PAL. My ps2 is ntsc. I don't think that should be a problem though. But, I'm not sure.

Nah man. HDADVANCE is for internal hdds mate. So it wont work with a usb hdd.

What you need is usbextreme/advance easy to download off the net.
But the compatibility of games are real low mate, so most games you probly want to work wont lol.

And well yeah. In my view usb hdd with usb extreme aint worth it...

Thanks man. Ive been reading lots of forums and they all said the same thing. Oh well. ill just buy a new processor with the money =p.
