I have been using dvd shrink on xp pro sp2 for a long time (v3.2.0.14). I recently updated to v3.2.0.15 and now my dvds will not play on either of my standalone players. I know it was just a jump from beta to official or whatever, but there are subtle differences. I have tried checking and unchecking the option to put audio and video into separate folders (which wasn't even there in the older version). Does anybody know what is going on? where can I download v3.2.0.14 again?

I'm just curious what makes your system so different from so many others. Shrink has been working for almost everyone for the past couple of years. I've got a feeling you might end up with the same problem, even if you find the beta version you're looking for. ddlooping might be able to help you out at http://www.dvdshrink.info . He used to know a little about the Shrink programs. LOL

There is no need to try to put audio and video in separate folders. It doesn't happen anyway. There was really no need for the check box in Backup for creating the separate audio and video_ts folders, at least nothing I've run across in a few years of backing up my DVDs. I've never found anything in one of those audio folders. Audio and video goes into the Video_TS folder. I've seen different programs create an Audio folder, but they usually have nothing in them.

The burning software and media are usually more a problem than Shrink. Do the output files play okay on your PC? If you don't know, save your output to the HD in file mode. Then try playing it off the HD with your player software. If it plays, the problem isn't Shrink. Normally if the dvd files are compliant and you end up with playability problems, the culprit is either the burner ware or the media, and occasionally the standalone players. Some older players may not play some newer media.
