Making a copy of a backup?

Here's the problem everytime I try and make a copy of a backup I am able to copy the game to my hard drive, but when i try and copy it onto a blank disk I keep getting a message along the lines of format error. I have tried using alcohol 120%, IMGburn and record now, they all produce a similar error message. I am using sony accucore dvd-r.
So are any of you able to recognise what I am doing wrong.

I've had a friend who had the same problem as you, though i forget how he managed to fix his problem. Sorry i can't be of more help but your not alone as there are other people with the same problem.
