PS1 is playstation 1
PSX in asia is another type of playstation it came between PS1 and PS2. It can play PS2 games and (built in DVR?) and stuff like that. Wiki it.

PSX everywhere else is PlayStation 1

PSN is Play Station Network, on ps3 network u can download demos, buy games n such.

well if u have the new coustom firmware such as 3.XX OE-A or above u should be able to play PSX game without an emulator. it comes with it

Yes, use the one sony made... if u have custom firmware just download a PS1 Eboot. Or convert a PS1 game to a eboot.pbp with programs.
check psp-hacks for programs
and google pspiso for psp iso and psx eboot.
