i downloaded a game and after it had downloaded i checked it with quickpar and everything is fine. i go to extract it and no program will extract it. i have tryed winrar (Winrar says unknown file or damaged) 7 -zip and hjsplit. hj split joined the rar files but its left me with a file that is the rite size of a game but it has got no file extenstion.

i asked a few people on a different forum and they said that it could be a crap download try a diff game i have tryed 3 games now and they are the same. nuffin will extract it!!!

It freezes or theres an error? when you see the .001 file and you try to open it with winrar do you see an iso inside of it? is there a .ace file or a .000 file?

Try TUGZip. I've downloaded LOTS of files in multiple parts (.001, .002, etc... or .r01, .r02, etc...) and have always used TUGZip successfully. Install it with the default settings (just click Next all the way thru the install) until the last screen with the Finish button. In the bottom left corner of the install window, you'll see a Select All and a Clear All (or Unselect All). Choose Select All, click Finish. In a couple of seconds, and Explorer window will open. Close it. Browse to the first compressed file you're trying to extract (.001 or .r01), right click, and choose Extract to %filename% (%filename% is the name of your compressed file), and just let it run. Shouldn't take more than 1 minute or 2.
Download TUGZip from here:

Good luck!!!
