i posted this earlier on ddrfreak but i might as well post it here too; i really need help lol, and i posted it on the sticky but i thought i might as well post it here too:
"hi
my friend sold me his Dance Dance Revolution: Extreme (the japanese version) since his ps2 with a modchip broke.
then, i bought a fliptop and swapmagic (3.6 i think)
i put the fliptop on and everything and whenever i load in the game after switching the swapmagic out, it says "not a valid ps2 disc." i know the swapmagic works since i tried loading an american ps2 game with it (We Love Katamari, to be exact). also, normal games without using the swapmagic worked fine.
anyone have a solution to this?
thanks in advance!
PS i can elaborate on anything if i didnt explain it well enough. sorry 'bout that"
also, this is the original japanese disc; it is not a backup or whatever
ok let me ask a question, why would a jap game work in an american ps2 ne way? i can get pal games to work if i play on my pc cuz i can change the tv format

uhh... you use a mod thing and swapmagic? that's how most people do it. lol that's the basis of my whole question ._.;
ask anyone; they work on an american ps2 if you do the right stuff to it ^_~
