US Wii Brick Question

I just ran Donkey Kong Taru Jet Race on my US 2.2U Wii and the bloody game initiated an update when I went to the game channel!

I did not eject it while it was doing it incase doing this was worse than the update!

On reboot my Wii seems perfectly fine - the few games I tried work (Resident Evil 4 took longer to load the first time after the update but is now back to normal), I can go into settings and my saves are all there. I just wanted to check if I did actually bugger anything up?

Next time use Wii Brick Blocker on the backup.
