in ixtreme and other firmwares, it says it included disc jitter, what is this and what's it's function?

Jitter is kind of like the little bad spots on disc that causes skips and things of that nature. Wikipedia gets more in depth with it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jitter A burned disc and pressed disc have different jitter. Supposedly MS is looking at that now or will be soon.
