cwcheats and Parasite Eve problem

Hi all, I'm having a problem with cwcheats and Parasite Eve on my PSP. Nothing happenes when I hold select. It still works in all other games I tried it on, but nothing in Parasite Eve. Anyone else having this issue, or know what I'm doing wrong? Thanx in advance
