Can't Update From 3.10 OE A'

Hi guys i'm new to this site but not new to the world of psp firmware up and downgrading. When i try to update my firmware i just get "the game could not be started" (8002014C) the update icon appears in the mem stick folder but just doesn't start. i've tried putting the update into different folders like "Game" Game150" "Game310" But nothing seems to work.

Can Anybody Help?
