So I am currently getting my WiiKey installed into my Wii, and I am just curious about the WiiKey install disc. I downloaded the 1.2 Universal but have no idea how to work it or put it on a dvd. I have a Mac OS X and have Toast and Disc Utility.

Any takers?

Honestly borrow a friends PC for 10 minutes. I work on a mac at work and have a PC, and have found that most times opening a windows exucutable on a mac has terrible results. It is also something that you can't easily do without some knowledge of programming or a program written to open windows files on a mac.
The whole process on a PC only takes 10 seconds to set up the disk and how ever long it takes the burner to burn. Basically all you do is click on the correct file for the Wii region you have and it creates an iso.

You also need a program to burn an iso, I do not think that Toast can unless you buy the newest version or a pluggin for it, but I'm not 100% on that.

The install iso is built by running the .bat file included. This needs to be done on a windows machine. You may be able to find a built iso on a torrent site but I doubt it as nobody would want to upload/download a 4+ gig file when the setup utility is just a few Kb.

You could install windows in a virtual machine or use bootcamp if your mac supports it.

That programme is called wine. It allows your respective OS to launch an .exe file. Worth a shot. And even if it dont work its a damn handy file!
