Ok so I started emulating games a while back and my PSP is Version 1.50. I haven't done this in a LONG time and I was just wondering if I want to start emulating ISO again should I upgrade to use all the new softwares or what?
Ok, well, what you need to do is backup any files you have right now
(Just highlight all your files in your psp folder[s] cut and paste em in your desktop.
now, you can either stick with 1.50, or you can get a devhook or a custom firmware.
i recommend custom firmware because its more stable and devhooks are complicated.
I have Custom Firmware 3.30 OE-A, and i recommend you get that because most people who upgraded to 3.40 OE-A, it caused their psp's to brick.
So just go for 3.30 OE-A, JUST FOR NOW,
wha kinda question is that..¿ haaha.. who would want to stay at 1.5 when you can be at oe-e or oe-a... custom firmwares the place to be mann.. just go searching for tutorials and its CAKE.. especially since your already at 1.5.. you can even use the 3.03 or 3.40 open edition easy installers.. download one of them.. extract it.. format your memory stick.. replace the psp folder... and boot up the update maker... then after thats done, boot up the firmware intallation.. make sure your at 75% battery lyfe or higher.. with the wall charger plugged in.. its so easy with the easy installer..get back
im tellin u maynn... 3.03oe-c or 3.40oe-a is the way to go... EASY INSTALLER is super easy.. ... just google it.. download it.. and its CAKE!..youll be at 3.40oe-a or 3.03oe-c less than 5 minutes.. that easyy
can you have any custom xmb with 3.30oe-a?? they say that 3.03oe-c is the golden firmware ;].. i know 3.40oe-a has its problems with topmenu_plugin.rco... bug 3.03oe-c seems pretty perfect. they now got the 3.5 m-33... but it has a lot of stuff that gots to be fixed..
can you explain why is that?? i heard a lot of problems of peoples pspz freezing on m33.. alkinds of different things caused there psp to freeze.. and the reason why i like 3.03oe-c is because i can throw anything on it and play anything on it without any problems.. 3.40oe-a i bricked my psp last time by flashing a topmenu_plugin that wasnt made for the 3.40oe-a and thats pretty gay because the ICONS and CROSS MEDIA BAR style is LIMITED... as you can see mines.. i kept it ncie and stylish.. with original icons.. but explain the postives of m33..
