Swap Magic & Magic Keys II Question

Magic keys II is meant to block the sensors that say your PS2 isn't closed, correct? So what exactly is swap magic for? I know that it is like a modchip were it will let you play back-ups/imports. But with the exception of imports, couldn't you just put the Magic Keys in place, put in an original game, wait for it to load to the PS2 screen, than switch to a backup game? Is that possible? I have a silver slimline. I have seen people do it with older ps2's and a homemade slide card. Let me know if it is possible, cause I would rather not pay for that disk if I don't have to. No that aint possible
Your drive wont stop spinning so you have to buy a new ps2 every 20 times:)
And when you see the ps2 logo, that means that your ps2 checked if the game is original and it loaded a disk id and swap magic doesnt have a disk id

sorry buddy but the disc is well worth it you pay 25 bucks for disc, a reg game cost over 50 how isn't that a great investment
