Installing a Customer XMB on 3.40OE-A

I tried to install XMB Theme Manager v0.3. It claimed to be noob-proof, but guess what ... I damn near bricked my system if not for 1.50 Recovery Winstaller. I reinstalled 3.40OE-A. Everything works perfectly. I would like to install a CXMB but I don't know how. Is there a "safe" way to install one. It doesn't matter how complicated the processes as long as I could read a walkthrough that won't brick my system. Thanks in advance.

lol i dont know what to say. the theme manager is supposedly easy to use. but u damn near bricked ur psp?

another way to install custom xmb is via flash0 but since u damn near bricked ur psp with that theme manager, i think u better dont crave for any custom xmb. just stick to sony's default haha

I successfully installed the deep space CXMD. I followed the instructions. I booted with R-Trigger. Backed up Flash0. Renamed the Jap.fonts to reduce size and copied over the files. *A friend emailed me dumbed down step-by-step instructions* See ... I'm not a total noob. I just need detailed instructions. Thanks by the way.
