I just formatted my HDD and lost everything. Before that I was able to view movies that I had burned to DVD. When I try using media player to view them, I get the message that I am using the incorrect codecs. I am running Windows XP Pro. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Reformatting your entire system is a PIA.

Have you tried using the codecs fron this AD thread?

Perhaps the K-lite codec pack (full) is the one for you!

Yep I installed the K-lite Codec pack Full and now I am in business! Movies are playing fine. Thanks for your help.
