Hi guys.

I bought a new PSP verison 2.81

I downloaded some games which I wanted to play.

I heard that if you can upgrade to version 3.03, then u can play downloaded games? Is that true? If so, can you explain me how?

Apart from that is there any other way to play downloaded PSP games, for NOOBS like me?

Guys I really need yer help

What you can do is downgrade from 3.03, which makes you one step closer to playing backups. Once you downgrade from 3.03 you can update to custom firmware and THEN you can play downloaded/backup games. The catch is to downgrade from 3.03 you need the unpatched version of GTA: Liberty City Stories. You can tell if it's unpatched by if it has the 2.00 update, because the patched one has a 2.60 update. You can also downgrade from 3.50 but you need Lumines 1 for that.
