Disc Burn Help (Discoloration)

So I had my modded Wii sent back to the modder with a sample of the discs I've been trying to play. He explained to me that it wasn't my wiikey, but the games I was burning. He included a working back up of his own and showed me that the difference is in my burn disc. The problem is that on the back of my discs (the purple side) the part of the disc that holds data changes to a light purple, when the disc is actually supposed to stay one color completely. I tried burning again with Nero at 4x speed (the slowest possible) put it still happens. Can someone explain how to burn the disc without the color change?

Try different media.

Try to use ImgBurn (freeware) instead of Nero.

You might need a new burner.
