Text Message Subject in Inbox *Help*

When I receive text messages from people, sometimes it will show up as the name (that is programmed in my phone) sometimes it will just show up as the number I am getting it from, and sometimes it just shows the subject in the Inbox.

Does anybody know if there is a feature on the phone that I am not aware of that sets it to a specific one?

I have a Motorola Razr V3c, Pre-paid phone.

If I understand correctly. It sounds like; Text messages will only be I.d.'d , phone # wise, if you have them stored in your Contacts, and / or if it's from an e-mail add., sometimes their not i.d.'d, and thats from their settings.
