i have got a motherboard with no drive and a spare dvd drive samsung ms25 and was wondering how i can get this drive to work with this motherboard?

just hook it up, it should work. if you get some kind of error, you can try spoofing the drive to look like a hitachi

You can't get the key without the original DVD drive, because there's no way the dump it from the motherboard yet.
