i get a black screen when i run res evil remake PAL on my NTSC Wii

When i try running any pal GC games using my NTSC Wii they dont seem to work even though region lock is off using Wiikey

With Metroid Prime it simply wont boot. With Res Evil 1 Remake I can hear sound but get no picture! Im using component with my Wii.

First off your region override is supposed to be on if you want to play out of region game disc. But I thought the region override option is for Wii games only.

You could try using the Wiikey setup disc to boot GCoS and then force the GameCube game into the correct video mode. Try both PAL50 and PAL60. Usually PAL60 gives the best results for NTSC sets.
