AlienTech: We know that recentely Slysoft acquired CloneCd from Elaborate Bytes. Because of the concourse of other software (as Alcohol 120% and Blind Write), CloneCd is considered from many people a declining software. What are you going to do regain the top?
SlySoft: We'll release a small update in the next few days and bigger ones will follow in the next months. CloneCD is a classic software to clone a CD - and it's still the best.

AlienTech: In CloneCD's newer version we had to expect something really new or function and look will be the same? In future, will CloneCd bypass every CD protection?
SlySoft: We are working on all new protection systems. In the first SlySoft CloneCD we emulate e.g. the SafeDisc 2.9 weak sectors.

AlienTech: In elby site there where a page listing CloneCd supported cd writers: to each drive was assigned one, two o three sheeps: three sheeps meant a full efm compatible writer: will this list be manteined by SlySoft?
SlySoft: No, we will not maintain such lists. They are useless anyway, because of CloneCD's function "emulate weak sectors" *all* drives support weak sectors.

AlienTech: How many people are now working for the development of CloneCD's newer version? There are also some Elaborate Bytes' tecnician?
SlySoft: Three people are working on CloneCD, two of them were worked at Elby and found a new home in Antigua.

AlienTech: Nowadays there isn't a "complete" mastering toolset: users have to use several different software to backup protected cd and to create a new compilation of file from the hard disk.: what about the creation of a complete solution? Have you any intention of creating one?
SlySoft: We are working on an 'all-in one' solution, but I'm not allowed to tell you more about this.

AlienTech: Could you tell us some anticipation about Slysoft's future project? For example other project over the developement of CloneCd and AnyDVD?
SlySoft: We are developing a Windows driver, to manage a virtual encrypted disk, that really (not like all the others) work like a real harddisk.
