Memorex and Verbatim 4x DVD+R blanks compared.

I have been using disks from a 10 pack of Memorex disks and a 30 pack spindle of Verbatim disks. Both are labeled 4x DVD+R. I have found that the Verbatim disks will not burn video at 4x, but burn fine at 2.4x. The Memorex disks burn fine at 4x. I looked at samples of both disks using DVD Identifier. Surprisingly, the information obtained (below)was identical from both.

I use a HP 300i burner and was using Nero Recode software in all cases. I have no specific questions, and am submitting this for information and comment.
