i used xboxhd cd boot disk to copy and make new disk for xbox,
drive model : hds724040klat80, used option 1, created partions, rebooted (copied over C:, and E:, from softmoded box onto cd w/ eprom)rebooted.
Choose option 3 to lock, used lockhd -a option, accidental pressed ctrl + enter, i paniced and pressed escape, it put the curser on the next line, I hit escape to cancel, showed "/" on the next line, so i just I hit return. it said done.
My hard disk is now locked. Anyone got any ideas on how to find the password that was used to lock it? I checked the password log and it was blank, i tried using the atapwd w/ blank spaces, the WDC...,
i tried the ascii escape codes ^M, ^[, and ^I. It says the ascii code might be *13) or 10. I tried them both.

yes, i tried, the xboxhd again, and everything was disable, all commands not able to work with accessing drive.
i tried the mhdd, it did not work either...
I dont think that the emprom locked the drive, i think since i hit, ctrl and enter and then escape. The hd lock must have use those key codes as the the lock password.
I will pay whoever can help me fix this!! really its a $400 drive!!!
