Sorry everyone. I've tried to read around but just want to make sure of things just in case I brick my PSP.
I am running the 3.40OE right now and want to update to the 3.52 m33 firmware. How would I do this? I know there is a readme but it starts off by saying "if you are under 1.5". I am in 3.40OE obviously so do I just copy the m33creator folder somewhere and run something thru the PSP? Please give me as much information as possible. Thanks.
Copy the M33 Creator over to your PSP/GAME150 folder (along with the 150.PBP and 352.PBP files)
As with other updaters, just run it, it'll take a while, and it'll create a new app which will be there when it exits, run that and wait for it to finish, when it prompts you, press X to power off. Wait a second or two and boot up your PSP, you'll have 3.52 M33.
As a caution in the slightest chance something goes wrong, backup your flash0, then if the update fails for any reason, you should still be able to get into your recovery menu, and reflash the old files.
