How do i access The Recovery/GAME BOOT?

Hi, i downgraded to 1.5, then to 3.40OE-A
and some1 told me to put some recovery files on the psp and i did, it was a program that extracted the files into the psp

anyways, the recovery menu starts but i did expierment, and checked if the recovery gameboot ( to go back to 1.5) worked, but my psp turned black, then it turned of.

what can be the problem?

Did you click on the "run program at PSP/GAME/RECOVERY/EBOOT.PBP"?

If you did, then most likely the recovery files you put on your PSP were corrupt; try the one from HERE.

If that also does the same thing, then reformat your memory stick from your PSP menu (go to System Settings and then click on Format Memory StickTM) and try installing the 1.50 recovery again.
