@CKhaleel-Dont you need Devhook for that?? or can you just put that in the GAME folder?? Looks like it would need to be tweaked a little bit to work on cfw...
How about IRShell..doesnt that have a screen capture function?

just press start or select on your psp, and the image will be saved into your homebrew folder when you open it.
also, if that doesn't work, check the homebrew game options, it'll tell you what button takes pictures.
GOOD LUCK

Quote: Put a game UMD into the PSP, then start the program. The UMD will be automatically loaded. Then you will be able to take screenshots by pressing the Music button. You can take 1/4 sized screenshots by pressing “volume -” and the music button together. The captured pictures will be put into “capture” folder of the PSP.
Features added:
Menu added
system menu (XMB) caputuring supported
Homebrew software capture support added

They must be doing some work on their site or something, because that link worked last night...I downloaded it, but now you get a 404 error...And I did not have any luck with that one-I was able to take that one screenshot of the menu, but then it would just shut down..
In any event, I went ahead with the SVcapture like CKhaleel recommended..That is pretty nice because you can take pictures and video of your XMB and the games also...Plus it has a gif maker program included in the package-so you can make animated gif's of your still pictures...Pretty sweet!!

I am on 3.40OE so I can still have fun with the themes and whatnot..
That other one was a PS3 theme...I imagine its compatible with M33-I havent tried it yet..And now I figured out how to run my CXMB plugin and still have the screen capture running also...
So heres the theme I have on my memstick...via CXMB-
Gears Of War..

And then a little animation using the SVCapture...

I am having too much fun here...

This is the one I just used for the pictures above...I am also using 3.40OE-A..follow the instructions for the 2.71SE-C..Like so:
FOR F-WARE 2.71 SE-C USERS
============================
* Copy capture.prx to the :\seplugins folder
* Copy capture.ini to the :\seplugins folder
* Copy the __SCE__SVCPlayer folder to the :\PSP\GAME150\__SCE__SVCPlayer
* Copy the %__SCE__SVCPlayer folder to the :\PSP\GAME150\%__SCE__SVCPlayer
* Edit (or create) the following files,
:\seplugins\vsh.txt
:\seplugins\game.txt
*In each file add a new line (at the top) that reads,
ms0:/seplugins/capture.prx
* Restart the PSP (holding R) to enter Recovery Mode
* In the Plugins-> section enable the capture.prx in the [GAME] and/or [VSH] then
go Back and Exit.
I thought it was more involved also by having to copy files to flash, but not the case here...the most work you would have to do is create a "seplugins" folder (if you dont have one in your memstick already) and editing those two .txt files..Its really easy..
Once you get the stuff installed...then you have have fun like this too....

Just add a line in the vsh.txt file thats in the seplugins folder, you should be able to have them both enabled..
like this:
ms0:/seplugins/capture.prx
ms0:/TM/cxmb.prx
ms0:/seplugins/irsmp3.prx-or whatever your prx file happens to be...

Originally posted by DZTYLE8O5: im really confused now DEEZ.. you say its easy but...yeah i alreayd had a seplugins folder from another program i downloaded to listen to my own music.. but yeah.. i started fresh and deleted that
[have a backup] and downloaded the one for 2.71se-c... put the two SVCplayer folders in my game150... copied the cature.prx 20kb file into a NEWLY MADE seplugins folder... then what...whicn one is there capture.ini??? is that the 1kb configuration settings folder?? if so... put that into the seplugings folder also
[unless its not the one] thennn what do you mean by --------
* Edit (or create) the following files,
:\seplugins\vsh.txt
:\seplugins\game.txt
i got really confused there.... then after you explain that.. what do i need to do to add on my mp3 plugin... just throw in the irsmp3.prx file into the seplugin folder also?? or do i need to add info. on another file.. or whats up.. THANKS IN ADVANCE
OK- what was in your other seplugins folder before you removed it? Did you just have the mp3 deal in there? I would put the seplugins folder you backed up back onto your memstick because there are those other files for that mp3 deal that you need for it to run...SO do that, and drop the capture.prx, and the capture.ini files into the seplugins folder also...Now you should already have a vsh.txt file in your backed up seplugins folder for the mp3 module...Open that text file up and add a line that reads ms0:/seplugins/capture.prx right under the "irsmp3.prx" or whatever else you have in that vsh file...The game.txt-you will probably have to create that..just open notepad and enter this-> ms0:/seplugins/capture.prx-> save as->game.txt-> drop that into your seplugins folder....If you already have a game.txt-just go ahead and add the "ms0:/seplugins/capture.prx" line to it and save it...Dont forget to enable your plugins via the recovery console when you are done.....
