Is there a way to just put the new maps on my xbox hd?

All I want to know is, can I add the new maps on my xbox hd, without modding my maps' tags, so I can just play them on my xbox wihtout purchassing them, I already have all of the new on my laptop, but I don't know when I'am ftp'ing into "tdata" do I need to make seperate folders for each map pack, and do I extract every map, or what, please help.
