Hey, I want to switch windows off from mounting my external hard drives and other internal drives when I boot up.

Reason being is I have 2 installs of XP and one of them is for games. On this partition there are no programs installed other than the basics, some disk cleaners and a web browser, no anti-virus, no firewall etc. This is to keep the games running fast.

I read about this nasty virus and was worried that I could be vulnerable to it whilst using my gaming OS and it could get on to my external hard drive where i keep all my media.

I do have back ups but still I would rather make the system more secure and learn something new about XP!
