hi guys i have recently put a modchip on the wii
and i have just got mario striker charged ntsc
will i was trying to go play online i got the message
connection succesfull
do you want to dl system update
custumer support code 61312
i have have the version 2.2U
should i do the update?

You left out a few details... Is the Mario Strikers an actual NTSC copy or a PAL copy that's been brickblocked??

If NTSC - no problem go crazy!

If PAL then be very careful as it could potentially brick your Wii (your firmware is at 2.2U so you should be safe, but just to be on the safe side run brickblocker1.3 on it)

Even after this when I inserted the game for the 1st time the system update screen popped up and said that it was searching for an update - cuz my system is also @ 2.2U it didn't need to update so the game then loaded as normal.

see the thing is that it did not ask me if i wanna update after i put my game in...
it ask me if i want o update after i was done with my wireless settings

well in that case thats just the system asking you to do the update and not the game disc. so you can go ahead with the update. system updates are fine because it will be updating from your system's region, that and the fact that you will be getting an update from a game from you region.

the only time it may not be safe is when your goin to play a game from a different region and your system's firmware isnt higher or at the same version of the update coming from the different region disc.
