Is there any way to emulate the official Sony 3.52 firmware on 3.52 M33-2? I would like to play game demos WITHOUT ILLEGALLY DOWNLOADING THEM!

You can't illegally download a demo, that's what they're there for: Downloading
But second, can't you just play "legal" demo's on 3.52 M33 anyway? Same as everything else...
PSP, all the way from 1.00 to 5.50 GEN D2 - DS Lite w/ M3DS Real (M3 Sakura v1.34)
PS3 3.01 - iPod Touch 2G 16GB Jailbroken - Xbox 360 60GB - PC, Q6600, 3GB DDR2, GTX260 (216) 896MB

Emulate the official 3.52 firmware? Well, 3.52 M33-2 is exactly the same as the official 3.52 firmware with just added features. Also, define "illegally downloading" of a demo.

I ment without illegally downloading the full copy of the game. I posted a question like this somewhere else and I got many replys as to download the full game. And also game demos had a problem in 3.40 OE-A to 3.51 M33-7. They would either load partially, not load, or freeze the PSP. That's why I want to emulate the official 3.52 firmware on my PSP.

Hmm... I've got to say i was never aware of this fact, but i don't see how there would be this problem.
If there is, then, well, you probably can't play it, as there isn't any "emulation" for the official firmware in the CW's as it's built in. But changing settings in the Recovery menu may get it to work.
If it doesn't work, in relation to downloading the full game; that's exactly what i would suggest you do. If you disagree with the whole illegaly downloading thing, then simply treat it as a glorified demo, you can test the game out and if you like it, then you can go out and buy it from a shop. Then it gives the developers the money and whatever else, but also takes away the illegality, as i think in buying the game you would then be allowed to download it, as you own the rights to play it.
This is the route some people take when downloading music, if they like the album, then they buy it to support the artist.

I never thought of it that way but I think I will end up taking that route or buy the game used from Gamestop so I can return it if I don;t like it. I knew that there was a way though to emulate firmware 2.71 with Devhook I think so if this can be done with newer firmwares please let me know!

So far i don't think devhook can be used with the CWs, i heard that it would require for someone to change some of the code to make it work, but not sure.

Ill try it out and post back. I did read about a new Devhook 3.11 so I will try to find that download and see if it works.

Devhook worked on 3.52 M33-2 by emulating 3.11. After I went back to 3.52 M33-2 the PSP comes up with no nickname, or MAC address and the background is gone. Should I reflash?

That sounds bad lol. You got a custom theme on it? Because sometimes the backgrounds on them show up as white unless you set the Theme to the 1 just below "original" when you select is in the options. It may have gone back to original, making it appear white.
If that's not the case or you're not usuing custom backgrounds, then yes, i would suggest you reflash 3.52 M33

I ended up formatting flash 1 (after seeing that it was completly corrupted) I also just restored my backup of flash0 and as of now it works fine.
